The remaining “special events”, scheduled to take place this year in Carmel, have been cancelled. That’s because it takes 3 to 6 months to organize such events, and the state and county Covid-19 health orders do not currently allow for large gatherings….and that’s not expected to change any time soon. Those newly cancelled events include: the Sandcastle Contest; the Pumpkin Roll; Homecoming; the city’s birthday parade; Carmel’s Veteran’s Day Ceremony; the Homecrafter’s Marketplace; and the annual Holiday Celebration.
