The Coast Guard is monitoring a cargo ship fire off of the Monterey Bay. The container ship, NYK Delphinus informed the coast guard about an engine room fire at about 5 a-m (Friday). Several tug boats and marine fire crews are monitoring the situation as the ship heads to the port of Oakland.
