Governor brown has signed a bill into law, that requires residential care facilities to notify families, if the facility’s license is at risk of being revoked. The bill was authored by assemblyman bill monning, and was based on an incident last year at chanticleer home, in santa cruz county. That facility was suddenly shuttered by state authorities, leaving families with only 14-days to find other care for their relatives.
