2-people were injured when their vehicle went off of a cliff on wednesday in the soquel area. a 69-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman were trapped inside the vehicle, after it went off of soquel-san jose road (near olive spring road) at about 2:30 p.m. the vehicle went about 50 feet down an embankment. Rescue crews from cal-fire were able to extract the 2 safely, (by cutting through the windshield). The victims were treated at Dominican hospital for injuries considered to be minor. The car was towed up from the cliff. The road was closed until about 6 p.m. authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
