The Capitola Police Department is holding a community get together on August 6th. The event is part of the National Night Out which encourages police to bring communities together. Residents will be treated to a free BBQ while they view K-9 demonstrations,and meet officers and other first responders. The event will also feature a jump house and other kid friendly activities. The festivities are between 5 and 7 p-m at Jade Street Park.
