a 2 alarm fire broke out in a storeroom on the second floor of the macy’s store in the capitola mall this morning. the 8:30 a.m. blaze was extinguished by 10 a.m. about 3 employees were evacuated but nobody was injured. the store will remain closed today while an investigation is conducted, the rest of the mall is open.
