On Tuesday evening, The Capitola City Council is meeting to discuss applying for a grant related to housing.
The grant could issue Capitola up to $160,000, and would assist the city in creating pre-approved site and architectural plans. Funds from the grant would expedite permit reviews for housing development, namely for Accessory Dwelling Units. (“Granny Units”)
Another agenda item is discussion of possible revisions on policy regarding vendors located on public right of way, such as sidewalks or parks.
The meeting takes place at 7 PM Tuesday at Capitola City Hall, located at 420 Capitola Avenue.
