Capitola city council members narrowly voted to approve borrowing more than 2-point-3 million dollars, to relocate residents of the city-owned pacific cove mobile home park. The vote was 3 to 2. the park was severely damaged during flooding last march. The vote means that the park will likely close in the next 6 months. Annual City payments on the borrowed money are expected to be between $220,000 and 230,000. the money coveres relocation costs and consultants to help residents find new places to live.
