If you want to serve on the Capitola planning commission, most city leaders say it’s best to live within Capitola city limits.
Last week the city council endorsed a plan to require all appointed commissioners reside in the city. The endorsement comes as Capitola considers development of the mall and a hotel within the village.
The motion now awaits a final ordinance and no word yet on when that will happen.
