A candidate filing workshop is being held in Santa Cruz this week. The Thursday evening meeting is slated to be presented by the Fair Political Practices Commission, and is designed to teach people who want to run for county offices, about the laws governing campaign reporting and other such issues. The 7 – 9 p.m. meeting is slated to be held in Board Chambers on the 5th floor of the County building at 701 Ocean Street in Santa Cruz.
