Although there was a possibility of about 5,000 unaccompanied minors being housing at Camp Roberts, that seems to be off the table…..for now. That’s because local advocacy groups explained that the military base really isn’t a suitable place for the children for multiple reasons. They are encouraging the Department Of Health And Human Services to find licensed shelters, where appropriate services are available for the children.
