The California Attorney General will hold a public meeting to receive comments on the proposed merger of Dignity Health Dominican Hospital with Catholic Health Initiatives.
Dominican Hospital is one of Santa Cruz County’s largest employers and its primary emergency care facility. The agreement commits the merged company to operate the hospital for at least 5 years, maintaining the emergency department, heart attack center, stroke center, and other services.
The meeting will be held at 3 P.M., next Monday, September 24th at the Santa Cruz Police Department Community Room, 155 Center Street.
