The golden state is not recovering lost jobs at the pace of the rest of the nation.
New unemployment claims continue to rise in California with an estimated 230-thousand 400 workers filing for unemployment benefits last week. That’s up 4-thousand from the week before.
Of the 870-thousand filings nationwide, California accounted for 27-percent.
