From today through October 22nd, residents impacted by 6 Wildfires (that impacted San Mateo, Santa Cruz, Monterey, Solano, Lake and Yolo counties) could be eligible for Disaster Cal-Fresh Food Benefits. A family of 4, with a monthly income up to 2,893 dollars, may be able to receive up to 646 dollars in food benefits. Individuals who might not normally qualify for Cal–Fresh benefits, may qualify for Disaster Cal-Fresh.
People who lived or worked in Santa Cruz county on August 14th can apply online at MyBenefitsCalWin.org between now and October 22nd, or they can call 1-888-421-8080 between 7:30am – 5pm Monday – Friday. Additional information is available on-line at https://www.cdss.ca.gov/disastercalfresh1.
