Cal-Fire has announced that the 600-acre Mountain Fire in Shasta County is considered to be 90 percent contained, while the 131-acre Horse Fire (burning northeast of Susanville in Lassen County) is 80 percent contained, and the 35-acre Jamieson Fire (burning near Gilroy) is 100 percent contained.
All evacuations and road closures, connected with the Mountain Fire, have been lifted.
Crews hope to have the Horse Fire fully contained by Wednesday evening.
