Cal-Fire and Pacific Gas And Electric have teamed up to teach fire prevention and safety tips this wildfire season. It’s expected to be a rough season, and both agencies are working to avoid a re-play of the 132,000 acre Soberanes Fire (which was the largest ever-recorded wildfire in U.S. history). They recommend 100 feet of Defensible Space around homes and garages, and that people have an Emergency Plan in place (and a Go-Bag all packed in case of the need to evacuate immediately).
