It’s still unclear how Cal-Am plans to deal with their last setback on trying to get approval for their planned desalination plant. That after the California Coastal Commission recommended that Cal-Am pull its current application, and re-submit it at a later date. The Coastal Commission reportedly made that suggestion because its members don’t have enough time to complete their impact analysis of the plan (and its environmental impacts) before their March meeting.
