The City of Marina issued a Final Local Action Notice to the CAL AM water company. Officials issued the notice on Friday, reinforcing the denial of Cal Am’s permit request for the water project. The notice also blocks appeals to the California Coastal Commission. The City cited concerns over the company’s attempts to circumvent local permitting processes as well as salt water intrusion and associated environmental issues.
