California American Water may have to pay several million dollars in penalties for the alleged mismanagement of its Monterey District Residential Water Allocation Program. Cal-am officials are expected to argue why they should not be penalized, when they speak at a california public utilities commission meeting later this week. The thursday meeting is slated to begin at 9:30 a-m at C-P-U-C headquarters on Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco.
