A Watsonville gang member has appealed his first degree murder conviction. Oscar Cabrera is reportedly hoping to have the February 24th sentence of life without parole that he now faces overturned. Cabrera is a well known member of the Nuestra Familia Prison Gang. The 6th District Court Of Appeals in San Jose, has been notified that his appeal was filed in Santa Cruz County Superior Court.
