All of the members of the California Coastal Commission have rejected a Santa Cruz man’s appeal to them; regarding the proposed Riverfront Project. They unanimously agreed that Ron Pomerantz’ claim, that the 7-story, mixed-use, 175-unit apartment building violated the Coastal Act, was unsubstantiated.
In fact, they also unanimously agreed that both the city, and the state’s, density requirements have been appropriately honored on this project.
