Officers with Child Protective Services are investigating the parents of a toddler, after the boy’s parents were arrested with 2 other adults recently in Santa Cruz. The Merced couple was arrested on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon, conspiracy to commit a crime, carrying a loaded firearm in public, willful child endangerment, and resisting arrest. They were booked into Santa Cruz County Jail.
