UTILITY CREWS RESTORED WATER TO A MONTEREY NEIGHBORHOOD FOLLOWING A WATER MAIN BREAK EARLY YESTERDAY MORNING (THURS). CALIFORNIA AMERICAN WATER RECEIVED REPORTS OF A BURST PIPE ON CAMPANA STREET AT AROUND 4 AM. CREWS SHUT OFF WATER TO THE AREA AFTER FINDING AROUND 70 GALLONS OF WATER PER MINUTE SPILLING INTO THE STREET. THE PIPE WAS REPAIRED BY 6 AM. AROUND 2,400 GALLONS OF WATER WERE LOST.
