a burglary of a ben lomond home was thwarted by a neighbor yesterday. 53-year-old gregory leo ventresca was seen loading items from an unoccupied home into his pickup truck. a neighbor asked what he was doing, ventresca replied that he knew the owner of the home before driving away. sheriff’s deputies located ventresca about 30-minutes later. he was arrested on suspicion of burglary and is being held in santa cruz county jail.
