A 19-year-old man was arrested in Hollister today(Fri), when he was allegedly caught trying to break into an apartment. Authorities responded to the Del Rio Apartments on Nash Road, and found John Manuel Velasquez hiding in the laundry room of the complex. He is suspected in a string of recent burglaries, and also had several outstanding warrants. Velasquez was arrested after being bitten by a police dog, as he tried to flee. He was booked into San Benito County Jail.
