British Columbian Oysters – Norovirus 05/02/18B 16:25 S.S.

People  are   being  warned  not  to  eat  raw  oysters  from  British  Columbia  right  now.   That’s  because  about  100  people  statewide  have  contracted  Norovirus  from  eating  those  british  columbia  oysters.    Canada  has  reported  more  than  170  cases  of  gastronomical  illness  from consuming  raw  oysters  that  were  harvested  in  south  and  central  Baynes  Sound.   4  oyster  farms  from  Baynes  Sound,  that  are  connected  with  those  cases,  are  temporarily  closed.  Norovirus is contagious and causes inflammation of the stomach and intestines. Symptoms include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and fever.
