A stranded boogie boarder was rescued by lifeguards in the live oak area of santa cruz county on Saturday. The Arizona resident was stuck on some rocks near 19th avenue, and began yelling for help. State parks lifeguards responded to Sunny Cove Beach at about 2:30 p.m., and launched a rescue effort. The man was not injured.
