A santa cruz county sheriff’s bomb squad was called out in felton today, after a suspicious package was found. Members of the bomb squad analyzed the box at the intersection of Kirby and gushee streets, and were unable to immediately determine what was inside. They decide to detonate the box, and the procedure occurred without incident. Investigators are trying to determine how the object got there.
