As a precaution, Boil Water Order has been issued for a portion of the city of Monterey. That’s because of a water main break that occurred last night not far from Aguajito Road. People in the impacted area are advised to either boil their water for 4 minutes (before using it for drinking or cooking)….or use bottled water. People can still use the tap water for bathing and handwashing. The tap water is expected to be back to normal by the end of this Friday (July 10th).
