Police say that a body found in the garage of a Salinas home Monday afternoon, was not related to the 2 shootings reported earlier in that area. The body, which has been identified as 30-year old James Martin, was found by the Clay Street homeowner around 5 p.m,. lying in a pool of blood. Police believe Martin, who lived nearby, broke into the home. A preliminary autopsy has ruled out suicide as the cause of death, however, police are awaiting the results of a full autopsy report (slated to be released tomorrow) before saying what actually killed him.
