The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office has identified the woman found dead in Pinto Lake in Watsonville over the weekend. The body was discovered by a fisherman on Sunday around 11:30 a.m. The woman has since been identified as 34-year-old Elizabeth Todis from Eugene, Oregon. Todis was believed to be a transient in the Northern California area and had been in the Salinas area one month ago. Her death is being investigated as suspicious. The autopsy results are still pending.
