Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Deputies discovered a body with a single gunshot wound in the area of Big Basin Redwoods State Park today. The body of a deceased Caucasian man was found in the area of Berry Creek Falls at around 1 p.m. A gun was also found next to the body. Search and rescue teams were in Big Basin Park this week looking for 57-year old Jonathan Ian Frank. Deputies have not yet confirmed or denied that the body was Frank.
