The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk will be dismantling and selling one of its roller coasters after a 20 year run. The Hurricane was sold by the Boardwalk to an amusement park in New Mexico and will head there after being dismantled. The last day of operation for the ride is September 3rd. A secret new attraction will be put in its place, and is expected to be operational by next summer.
