An elected official with the San Lorenzo Valley Water District board has apologized for the homophobic comments he made over the weekend. Bill Smallman said he meant no harm, and will not do it again. Although he said he feels this should not impact what he does as a director on the Water Board, he said he gets that as an elected official he needs to be much more aware of what he’s saying, and its possible impact on people.
