A free Santa Cruz bike safety workshop for children, adults and families is set for Saturday morning at Laurel Park. The program is part of the Santa Cruz Police Department’s quarterly Street Smarts program and Saturday’s events run from 10 a.m. to noon. Mechanics will be on site to tune up bikes and law officials will be on hand to talk about traffic questions.
