The man, who was shot by officers….after he fired rounds near a Big Sur campground on June 22nd , was wanted in connection with a June 17th fatal shooting off of Highway 680 in the San Francisco East Bay area. In fact, 26 year-old Milpitas resident Kevin Anthony Alaniz is believed to have been the shooter in that case.
