WHEN HIGHWAY 1 RE-OPENS THIS THURSDAY (FROM JUST NORTH OF THE PFEIFFER CANYON BRIDGE UP TO CARMEL), THERE WILL BE A TURNAROUND IN-PLACE JUST NORTH OF THE BRIDGE. THE TURN-AROUND WILL BE AT THE MULTI-AGENCY FACILITY AT MILE-MARKER 46.35.
AS PART OF TODAY’S UPDATE, CAL-TRANS OFFICIALS SAY THAT SLIDE REMOVAL AND HIGHWAY RE-ALIGNMENT AT PAUL’S SLIDE (AT MILE MARKER 21.6) IS SLATED TO BEGIN NEXT MONDAY.
TOMORROW (Wednesday) AND FRIDAY BETWEEN 10 A-M AND 3 P-M, DELIVERY VEHICLES WEIGHING UP TO 50-THOUSAND POUNDS, (WITH A MAXIMUM LENGTH OF 30 FEET) WILL BE ALLOWED IN FROM THE SOUTH SIDE TO HELP RE-SUPPLY LOCALS. LOCALS AND SUPPLY VEHICLES WILL NEED TO SHOW I-D TO THE FLAGGER AT RAGGED POINT.

FOR PEOPLE SOUTH OF THE BRIDGE WHO NEED TO GET RID OF THEIR TRASH, THERE ARE PLANS TO BRING A LARGE DUMPSTER INTO KIRK CREEK CAMPGROUND TOMORROW BY NOON.
