The iconic Big Red Barn off of Highway 101 near Aromas has closed. The building has housed a flea market which is the sole source of income for many of its hundred s of vendors. The operation was halted after one of the owners recently passed away. Several issues are at the center of the Big Red Barn’s fate, and will be addressed in court this week, including the building’s status in a will, and compliance with county health and safety codes.
