a member of a prominent santa cruz family and longtime staple of the santa cruz wharf and fishing community has died. robert “big boy” stagnaro died this morning at the age of 83. big boy stagnaro ran gilda’s restaurant on the santa municipal wharf with his sister gilda, who died in 2008. he is survived by his two sons, dino and malio. funeral arrangements are pending.
