A bicyclist was hospitalized after being hit by an S-U-V in Santa Cruz. The 6:45 a.m. accident occurred when the driver of the S-U-V drove through a yield sign on Morrissey Boulevard at Water Street. The driver stayed at the scene, and co-operated with police officers.
