A SPECIAL BENEFIT will be held tomorrow at the International House of Pancakes (i-hop) on 41st Avenue in Capitola. A portion of the proceeds from every meal (sold between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m.) will go to help out 35 year-old Watsonville father of 2, Patrick Carroll, (and his family) as he awaits his heart transplant. Carroll is the sole breadwinner for his family, and although the cost of the heart transplant itself will be covered, the costs associated with having a heart transplant, .and his loss of income, are not.
People are encouraged to go to www.ksco.com for the link to download a flyer (the link is inside our news headline “BENEFIT FOR PATRICK”, or you can pick one up here at K.S.C.O. …..or at Auto Care Towing on Kearney Street in Watsonville (where Patrick works). By giving the flyer to your IHOP server, it ensures that a percentage of the cost of the meal will go to the National Transplant Assistance Fund established for Patrick Carroll.
