The Beaver Fire that burned 215 acres in San Benito County was 100 percent contained as of Thursday morning. The fire started June 12 just east of King City near Coalinga Highway and Airline Highway. It was one in a series of fires that burned in the Central Coast in recent weeks. The state is approaching peak wildfire season and Cal Fire is urging residents to take preventative measures.
