The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk has canceled its free Friday night concerts this summer. The concerts have been held since 1988 but have been canceled this summer in response to concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic.
Because of the pandemic, the boardwalk said its operating hours, special events, and promotions will also be subject to change.
