A MOTORCYCLIST WAS KILLED ON HIGHWAY 9 SUNDAY MORNING. SOURCES SAY THAT AROUND 11:15 A-M A GROUP OF MOTORCYCLES WERE SOUTHBOUND 6 MILES NORTH OF BOULDER CREEK. WHEN A 29 YEAR OLD CAMPBELL MAN SWERVED INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC, COLLIDING HEAD ON WITH A 1 VEHICLE, AND THEN WAS (BEING) HIT BY ANOTHER VEHICLE, HE WAS DECLARED DEAD AT THE SCENE. A 2ND MOTORCYCLIST, A 63 YEAR OLD APTOS MAN WAS AIR LIFTED TO A BAY AREA TRAUMA CENTER AFTER CRASHING INTO THE 1ST DOWNED MOTORCYCLE. HIGHWAY 9 WAS CLOSED FOR OVER 2 HOURS AS THE C-H-P CLEARED THE ROADWAY , THE CAUSE OF THE ACCIDENT REMAINS UNDER INVESTIGATION.
