On Saturday, officers were on scene of a shooting that reportedly occurred following an argument between a man and woman aboard the BART train in El Cerrito.
During this incident, the officers had to open fire after an armed man ran out of a train car and onto the tracks.
While the man was taken to the hospital from the incident, he is expected to survive.
Police report a gun was found on scene.
