3 people have been arrested in connection with last Thursday morning’s bank robbery in Scotts Valley. the alleged robber was captured in southern Santa Clara county late friday afternoon. The search for the robber caused gridlock on highway 17 Thursday afternoon. Thursday night the suspect reportedly broke into a woman’s Lexington Hills home and stole her van, before disabling it by driving it over spike strips. He then took an unmarked police car and abandoned it in San Jose’s Japantown. He and his alleged accomplices were arrested at a San Jose construction site.
