Bail was reduced Thursday for a scotts valley man accused of sexually abusing 2-teenage girls. 42-year-old david paul Escobar remains in santa cruz county jail, despite the reduction of his bail from 1-million dollars to 805-thousand dollars. he faces a total of 48-criminal counts, including charges of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor. Escobar is scheduled to return to court for a preliminary hearing on july 23rd.
