Yesterday, a Monterey County judge lowered the bail for a man accused of multiple counts of attempted murder. 23-year-old Alejandro Jose Gonzales is now being held on 4-million dollars bail, down from 5-million dollars. A 4th-count of attempted murder was added to the charges against Gonzales this week, after prosecutors said he could have hit a 4th victim as he allegedly shot 3-others, in the parking lot of a bar in Monterey on New Year’s Morning. Gonzales is scheduled to return to court on January 27th.
