Highway 101 between Gonzales and Soledad came to a stop this morning when a truck carrying a backhoe that was not secured properly and was too high to clear the overpass.
The impact sent pieces of the overpass across 101. Caltrans officials say the structural integrity of the bridge was not harmed.
