THE NAME OF A 38 YEAR-OLD BOULDER CREEK MAN, WHO DIED IN AN EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING ACCIDENT ON BEAR CREEK ROAD, HAS BEEN RELEASED. ERIN WALKER MARKLAND WAS REPORTEDLY DRIVING NORTH (NEAR WHERE BEAR CREEK ROAD MEETS SUMMIT ROAD) WHEN HE LOST CONTROL OF HIS VEHICLE AND IT WENT OFF THE ROADWAY. MARKLAND WAS EJECTED FROM THE VEHICLE AND DECLARED DEAD AT THE SCENE. THE CAUSE OF THAT ACCIDENT IS STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION, AS IS A SECOND FATAL ACCIDENT THAT OCCURRED LAST WEEK ON JAMISON CREEK ROAD. 61 YEAR-OLD BERKELEY RESIDENT TIMUR CHETIN DIED AS A RESULT OF THAT SOLO VEHICLE ACCIDENT.
